About

A value alone is not evidence.

SOURCE is a product evidence resolution layer for European manufacturers. It finds evidence gaps, retrieves existing evidence, and prepares targeted supplier requests without replacing ERP, PIM, PLM or DPP platforms. SOURCE does not replace ERP, PIM, PLM or DPP platforms; does not publish Digital Product Passports or create data carriers; does not determine definitive legal scope for every SKU; does not independently certify evidence; and does not guarantee supplier response or compliance.

Thesis

Identity, evidence, scope, validity, permission, and conflict review have to travel with the number.

SOURCE exists because product information for compliance is usually already somewhere — in ERP, PIM, certificates, inboxes, and supplier files — and is rarely complete enough to stand behind a published claim.

  1. Identity

The product, component or supplier the value is about must be reconciled. Ambiguous matches stay in review.

  2. Value

A stated property exists on the record. SOURCE does not fill empty fields with inference presented as fact.

  3. Evidence

A document or source record is attached. A declaration without evidence does not pass this gate.

  4. Scope

The evidence covers the product, period and purpose being asked. Adjacent but non-matching documents remain unused.

  5. Validity

The evidence is still inside its stated validity window, or the gap remains open.

  6. Permission

Recorded consent allows the intended reuse. Denied or missing permission keeps the record unresolved for that use.

  7. Conflict

Outstanding conflicts have been reviewed. Unreviewed disagreement blocks READY.
